Xiamen Machinery and Electronics Exhibition (CXMEE), specially authorized by the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) of China, is co-sponsored by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronics Products (CCCME), Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association, and Xiamen Municipal People’s Government. CXMEE takes place in Xiamen, China on April 26th-29th annually.

CXMEE is the largest machinery and electronics exhibition jointly organized by both sides across the Taiwan Straits. The 15^th CXMEE featured 936 domestic and overseas enterprises and provided 3,250 booths spread out over an exhibition area of 65,000 square meters, setting new records. Concurrently held with the CXMEE were the third China (Xiamen) International Engineering Machinery and Building Material Machinery Exhibition, the 2011 China (Xiamen) Energy-saving Lighting Exhibition, and the 2011 Cross-Straits Premium and Special Commodities Fair, reflecting the CXMEE’s expanding role as a specialized trading platform. The 15th CXMEE attracted 36,286 visitors from 35 countries and territories, including 5,838 overseas visitors. Taiwan remained the largest source of overseas visitors to the CXMEE, with 2,566 people in attendance, reflecting the CXMEE’s attraction to the Taiwan business community. Countries and regions with a large presence at CXMEE included Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, the United States, Australia, and Hong Kong.

The 16th CXMEE will provide an exhibition space of 60,000 square meters and 3,000 international standard booths. It will showcase mechanical equipment, construction machinery、food machinery, packaging and printing equipment, moulds, tools and materials, apparatus, instruments, industrial automation, energy-saving lighting and flat panel display products.
