On April 8, in the XGMA Machinery Hall of the 14th CXMEE, amidst thunderous applause, XGMA Machinery president Cai Kuiquan presented a number of keys to Taiwan Chinfon Group chairman Lin Zhenming. The keys were for the XG958 yellow loaders produced by XGMA for Chinfon. All of the loaders were painted with words “Taiwan Only”. They are the first batch of mainland machinery products heading straight to Taiwan.
XGMA is the mainland’s leading engineering machinery builder in the mainland, as well as the mainland’s closest engineering machinery production base to Taiwan Island. XGMA shipped its first loader to Taiwan on February 5. The current shipment includes loaders, excavators and rollers. They will arrive in Taiwan’s Keelung port on the same day of departure.
Mr. Lin Zhenming stated that the shipment represented a milestone in the cooperation in the engineering machinery industries on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. A delegation comprising representatives from heavy-duty machinery builders throughout Taiwan is also visiting Xiamen. Mr. Lin said that he is seeking to bring 100 machines from XGMA to Taiwan per year in order to expand the market share of XGMA's full line of products in Taiwan.
