The 2010 China (Xiamen) International Engineering Machinery and Building Material Machinery Exhibition, a highlight of the year’s CXMEE, will feature global engineering machinery giants and provide twice the number of booths last year. CXMEE has become the best platform for mainland engineering machinery to tap into the Taiwan and ASEAN markets.
In the midst of the historical opportunities opened up by the formation of the China-ASEAN free trade zone and the acceleration of infrastructure development in the ASEAN nations, the Xiamen Engineering Machinery Exhibition is set to become a professional exhibition for engineering machinery builders to tap into the domestic and overseas marketplaces. To capitalize on this mega platform, a significant number of major domestic and overseas engineering machinery builders have signed up for the exhibition. In addition to major enterprises such as Xiagong, Longgong, NFLG, Jingong, Quangong, Xiamen Loader and Haiyuan Machinery, leading Chinese engineering machinery builders such as Xugong, Liugong, and Jinglong Engineering Machinery will take part in the exhibition for the first time. Japans’ Sumitomo, IHI, Hyundai and many other foreign machinery builders will also display their equipment at the exhibition.
This year’s Xiamen Engineering Exhibition will provide an exhibition space of nearly 20,000 square meters and 1,000 booths, the highest numbers among similar exhibitions. To date, more than 300 industry representatives from ASEAN countries such as Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Indonesia, and Singapore have confirmed their intentions to take part in the exhibition. More than 100 industry representatives from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, as well as nearly 2,000 more from 23 Chinese provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, will also participate in the exhibition.
The CXMEE Organizing Committee will join hands with the China Outward Project Contracting Association to host a symposium to explore the opportunities and challenges in project contracting and engineering machinery products in ASEAN. The latest information on the construction markets in ASEAN will also be released to help exhibition enterprises to gain a better idea of the market opportunities in the economic development of the ASEAN countries.
During the exhibition, the CXMEE Organizing Committee will host ceremonies to mark the handover of the first batch of mainland-made engineering machinery to Taiwan and the handover of first batch of China-made low-carbon Xiagong loaders to Thailand. The annual conference of the Construction Machinery Branch of the Fujian Engineering and Construction Quality and Safety Association will also be held during CXMEE.
