The 14th China Xiamen Machinery & Electronics Exhibition (CXMEE), scheduled to open on April 8 next year, is currently seeking exhibitors and is expected to provide more than 2,500 international standard booths, nearly 30 percent more than the 13th CXMEE.
According to organizers, the 14th CXMEE will provide an exhibition space of 60,000 square meters in six halls for mechanical equipment; engineering machinery; instruments and industrial controls; moulds, hardware, tools and materials; packaging and printing equipment; food processing machinery; and energy-saving lighting.
Next year’s CXMEE will continue to highlight its focus on the machinery and electronics industries across the Taiwan Straits. It will continue to expand its engineering machinery show, which was inaugurated this year. Leading machinery builders, such as Xiagong, Longgong and Jingong, have confirmed their intensions to take part in the exhibition next year.
Officials with the CXMEE organizing committee state that the Central Government’s recent initiative to push the development of the economic zone on the western coast of the Taiwan Straits will open up greater opportunities for the CXMEE to grow and expand. Many enterprises in the machinery and electronics industries across the Taiwan Straits are drawn to the vast business opportunities on display at the CXMEE. Half of this year’s exhibitors have booked booths for next year’s CXMEE.
CXMEE is authorized by the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) of China and is co-sponsored by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronics Products (CCCME), Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association, and Xiamen Municipal People’s Government. CXMEE is China’s only large-scale machinery and electronic exhibition aimed at expanding exports to Taiwan and assisting enterprises into tap into the domestic and overseas markets.
