Four Suppliers of AU Optronics Inaugurated in Xiamen

　　On July 2, four suppliers of the world optic-electric giant AU Optronics celebrated their commencement of production at Xiamen Torch (Xiangan) Industrial Zone. This marks the zone has scored another major achievement as the initiator and cohesive for the optic-electric industry. It has so far effectively brought together a number of businesses in the industry.

The four companies in question have a combined registered capital of 85 million USD. Their projects are scaled at 250 million USD. In addition to R&D, design, and manufacturer of new flat display components, film-type LCD modules, touch-panel modules and optic-electric accessories and parts and related precision plunger dies and cavity molds, the joint ventures also provide technological assistance and after-sale services.
