Production Value of Xiamen Photoelectricity Industry Nearly Reach 10 Billion

　　　　XIAMEN, April 9-This morning, a high rank scholarship forum on LED was held at International Conference Hall, XICEC. Scholars and experts from domestic and overseas attended the forum to discuss the LED illuminating. This forum was co-sponsored by China Illuminating Engineering Society and Xiamen Science and Technology Bureau. This forum focuses on: Semiconductor (LED) illuminating technology and application.
It is said that Photoelectricity Industry is one of the three “booming industry” of Xiamen. Xiamen LED has made a great progress in the past two years. In 2005, the production value of Photoelectricity Industry reached about 9.062 billion.
During the CXMEE, the organizing committee will also hold “Seminar on Photoelectricity Industry Exchange and Cooperation across the Taiwan Straits & Matchmaking Symposium on Photoelectronic Projects” and “Xiamen Seminar on Promoting FTTH across the Taiwan Straits”.
