With its rising level of specialization, the CXMEE is attracting increasing attention of enterrprises of machinery and electronics. As many as 60% attending business people of the CXMEE are repeat clients. As soon as our staff reporters walked into the hall, they saw many familiar faces.
Nine years have passed since the first CXMEE, and a lot of business people have become old friends of the CXMEE, including Dalian industrial exhibition delegation, which has been here for nine years in a row.
Dalian industrial exhibition delegation is a huge presence at the exhibition, occupying 36 standards booths and representing 16 enterprises from key industries such as equipment manufacturing and information electronics. The theme of the exhibition around machinery and electronics coincide with the task of reinvigorating the old industrial base of Dalian. Shortly after the opening ceremony, the delegation signed an agreement of cooperation intent with a Zhejiang businessman for a RMB 8 million deal.
Guan Jie, deputy director of the Office of Machinery and Electronics under Dalian Foreign Trade and Economic Bureau, the purpose of exhibition is not only to make deals or identify cooperation intent; more importantly, it helps enterprises to showcase themselves and to increase their brand recognition, and allows them to obtain information and explore business opportunities.
Yangtie Group, one of the top three machinery businesses in Taiwan, has been represented at the exhibition for four consecutive years; this year, they took up 36 standard booths.
Tang Yishan, Fujian area manager of the Mainland Department of Taiwan Yangtie Group says that the CXMEE has produced significant results for the company and helped him to find a distributor in Xiamen.
Luo Huaijia, deputy director-general of Taiwan Electronic & Electrical Manufacturers’ Association, has been here for three years on end. He says that Taiwanese business people are showing greater interests in this trade event, with the number of Taiwan-based manufacturers jumping 15% over the previous year.
Luo also expresses his hope for turning the CXMEE into a global and international event.
